I have a real obsession with decorating my mantel. Here are a few of my favorite mantels so far. From left to right, you'll see my Easter, July Fourth, and Christmas mantels.
This hobby of mine is so fun for me. Now that we are slowly watching summer slip away, I wanted to create a back-to-school mantel before the Fall. When Fall hits, you already know it will be time to turn my home and mantel into a Fall dream. However, I am so excited to enjoy my latest installment for a while. As far as my vision for this project went, I really wanted it to feel like a life-size classroom. I homeschool, so I love getting my kids excited and geared up for another school year together. Without further ado, here is my Back To School Mantel reveal.

I think my favorite part of this whole mantel has to be the giant blow-up markers, crayons, and the pencil. They really brought my vision to life, as I wanted it to feel like a life-size classroom. I purchased my items either from Hobby Lobby or Amazon. I will list a full break down below, as well as links to anything I have links for.
Hobby Lobby Finds + HomeGoods Finds
I found the large standing chalkboard ($40), wooden pictures with words (less than $10 each), and the wooden pencils ($2.99 each) at Hobby Lobby, which I don't have links for. I found the "First Day Hooray" pennant for $4.99 at HomeGoods. All good finds!
Things I Already Had
I love buying items I can use year-round. The black and white vases, basket, globe, and candlesticks are all things I have had for a long time.
Here are a few more photos of my mantel!
I hope this inspires you to create a fun back-to-school mantel in your home or classroom! Praying for peace as you embark upon another school year with your kiddos!
