There is nothing I love more than being at home in my cozy house. The older I get, the more I just want to be home. I love taking care of my home and keeping it a safe place to land. As we embark upon the colder months, I want to share a new series with you that I am calling, "How To Run Your Home Like A Cozy Bed & Breakfast This Winter". Technically, I apply these tips year-round, but since we are almost to cold season, let's make our homes extra cozy this winter!

So how do you run your home like a cozy bed & breakfast?

I’ve been thinking about this concept for a while now, after staying in a few cozy places. I love a good hotel, but there’s something extra special about a cozy bed and breakfast or cabin in the woods. When you think about a bed and breakfast, you think of a warm breakfast buffet, paintings on the wall, cozy bedding, and an overall warm aesthetic. So, how do we make our homes cozy and run them efficiently just like a bed and breakfast?

Tip 1: You must have a good coffee, tea, and/or hot chocolate bar!

Every cozy bed and breakfast serves a good, warm drink. You'll find pretty mugs and cups, disposable drinkware, and a wide variety of options. They always have glass jars full of toppings for your hot chocolate, cream and sugar pitchers, and more. Find syrups, a carafe, fun cups, tasty teas, and hot chocolate to add to your drink bars in your home! My coffee and tea bars are a collection of thrift store finds and new purchases.
